Into the Blinding Light

by Wasted Fake Smiles   Jun 17, 2006

Hello my dear, don't be afraid,
Take my hand as you being to fade.
I've come to take you, to heaven above,
Where you can feel happiness and love.

Don't be scared, your family is fine,
You still get to see them, one last time.
Although they can't see you, they'll say bye,
Don't feel bad, as you watch them cry.

Grab on now, as we walk into the blinding light,
Don't let go of my hand, hold on tight.
Don't turn back keep walking ahead,
It's time to go to heaven, got you are dead.

Ok, we're here, welcome to heaven so grand,
Please feel free to let go of my hand.
See the angles fly around, and your family smile and wave,
The way to the gates, is golden paved.

I turn to her, "I don't want to be dead!
Is this just a dream made up by my head?
Please, I want to go back, please I beg you,
I'm too young my life can't be through!"

I wake up, it was just a dream,
I was hit by a bus, I remember I heard a scream.
People gathered around, crying and getting help,
Now I can't move my legs, as I let out a yelp.

They come in, and say I barely lived through the night,
But luckily I lived, for I didn't see the buses blinding light.
They were surprised; I should've died,
But luckily for me, I had an angel take my stride.
