Closing my window

Staring out a window,
Yearning to see you again,
I cant see my future without you,
Because my love i do defend,

People ask if I'm okay,
I simply nod with a lie,
Afraid my voice would tell the truth,
So i just didn't reply,

I close my eyes hoping its all a dream,
but all this pain is for real,
I begin to cry,
As i realize it will take time to heal,

The places that I go,
Your memory is there,
It's getting to hard,
This is more than i can bare,

I start thinking of all the good times,
But I tell myself not to start,
I cry even harder,
Because I love you with all my heart,

I don't know how to react,
To anything you do,
I think it's absolutely crazy,
That I'm still in love with you,

You spread a couple rumors,
You told a few lies,
When they get back to me,
Tears build up in my eyes,

If you haven't noticed,
I walk around with a glare,
When you look at me,
You can tell in my stare,

I slowly shut my window,
Locking all my memories of you inside,
I put a fake smile on my face,
Because those feelings I've got to hide!
