I'm leaving... i might not come back

** i wrote this poem before leaving to New York and i was really freaked out cuz i was having nightmares every single night about my plane crashing... but thankfully it didn't crash**

I'm leaving to New York soon
i didn't get to say goodbye
i hope ur thinking of me right now
but now I'm off into the sky

i spoke to you last night
before i went to sleep
it was my last chance to talk to you
and so my heart took a leap

i searched for all my courage
and finally told you how i feel
i told you that i love you
my feelings i no longer could seal

i guess you were in shock
and you don't love me back
but I'm happy i told you my secret
but i have another fact

if i didn't tell you my secret last night
you might've never known
for lately I've been dreaming
of myself dieing

the dream happened on a plane
the plane I'm taking back home
it crashed in the thunderstorm
the next day on the news it was shown

so if my dream really comes true
there's one thing i wont regret
is how i told you i love you
I'll never forget the day we met
