Your running around outside, making airplane sounds
You see your dad walk out of the house
You run over to him and hug his leg, but he gently pushes you off

You wonder why this is happening and you ask him where he's going
And he says he's going away for a while, and you feel the wind blowin, in his word's

You believe its alright until you walk inside
You see your mom and shes crying
You ask whats wrong and she just strokes your hair
"Nothings wrong dear"

You smile, Confused
Nothing's wrong

"Father of mine
Take me back to the day
When I was still your golden boy
Back before you went away
I remember the blue skies, walking the block
I loved it when you held me high
I loved to hear you talk
You would take me to the movie
You would take me to the beach
Take me to a place inside that is so hard to reach" - Everclear

Yeah...it must really make the children of the military feel like someone's out there that understands them...almost as if a forgotten friend has come out of hiding to help...in a way.
    again..good job.
    5/5.
