Little Bottle

I'm feeling empty
like a lonely little bottle
it has no more liquid in it
someone forgot to put it in recycle

the lonely little bottle
drifted off into the sea
but now it's not so empty
a love letter's been placed in
asking do you love me?

but now the little bottle
is lost in the deep sea
looking for the sailor
the love letter was sent for him to read

the sailor never got it
the bottle is still in the sea
not empty, but lonely
the girl who wrote the letter was me.
