Your ashamed of me
and I'm ashamed of you
you don't know whats going on
but i see everything you do

angry i had sex
do you know i was seduced?
angry that i smoke
helps me feel less bruised

disappointed my arms are cut
did it just for you
throwing up my food
i know you see right through

see your boyfriend and not me
i know you don't care
you should at least pretend
at sometimes be there

hold my hand at night
tell me I'm beautiful and your only girl
just pretend for me
try to fill my world

thanks for giving me life
thanks for making me pretty
thanks alot mum for not loving me
.. just ignore I'm in self pitty

i cry myself to sleep
instead of you rubbing my head
remembering when i was your little girl
"i love you" is it true what you said?

    Hey! Well I really like this poem. I think it's really sad but I think it's really good.. I feel the same way. It's just so different after you grow up. I like the comparisons you made though especially the crying yourself asleep and her rubbing your head...Great poem
