We Can Too

by Nyssa Bray   Jun 19, 2006

I really miss the late night talks,
And the hours we spent on the phone.
But lately when I'd call for you,
You never seemed to be home.

I miss the laughter and the joy,
Of when we were together.
We'd talk all night about our lives.
You promised me forever.

But than you messed around on me
And played me like a toy.
You told me that you loved me,
And now I'm left to cry.

I cry when I'm alone,
When my only thought is you.
I cry when I cant go on.
Please tell me what to do.

I wish that you'd come back to me,
and talk this whole thing through.
Other people have worked this out.
I know that we can too.
