Where Angels Soar

by ...   Jun 19, 2006

Fire! in the angels city
Oh how the clouds do burn so pretty
The angels cant believe the sight
While demons set the sky alight
To whom will the angels pray?
God himself cant save the day
Chaos rules this kingdom high
And every angel in heaven cries
Desperate tears fall down to earth
Overlooked, for all theyre worth
Screams of those observing
Echo of the angels burning
The fallen angels do await
The opening of hells fiery gate
Smoke replaces crystal sky
As the angels die
The humans cannot but stare
At the city in the air
Like the great London fire
Flames dont die, they just grow higher
Deep below, the demons cheer
For even here, they smell the fear
Falling ash turns noon to night
Darkness feeds the angels plight
The ones who took a fighting chance
Now fall to earth in stony dance
Not one angel can be seen
And also gone is world pristine
Satan has won, he is sure...
But in our hearts, the angels soar
