One day a girl was walking by herself talking on the phone
when she came upon a note on the floor that said, To Grace
when you read this, please read it alone
so when she got home, she went into her room and started reading
so as she started reading, she started to get teary eyes
she was surprised and just asked herself why ?
why out of all the girls in the world, he picked me ?
she was just so amazed on how somebody felt so much for her
she was blinded from on how people thought, she just couldn't see
couldn't see how much he saw through wat people may think of her
it was always clear to him , never a blur
in the note she found, he had wrote that she was beautiful
she was pretty, great personality, great sense of humor
truly his idea of the perfect girl that in his eyes is wonderful
so as she finishes up the note, she wonders who it can be
who can really write the deep feelings they feel for me
maybe its a neighbor she thinks or maybe a friend ?
a friend that she never noticed because it was always about her
maybe is all she can say, she just cant understand
it amazes her that somebody can see through her and see her for what she is
so time goes by and once again, she finds a note
it reads," Grace if you read this, thank you, thank you for that kiss"
then it just hits her, shes like oh my god !, Ive only kissed one guy before
shes now truly really shocked, she knows who it is
she remembers one evening when a friend told her, your someone i adore
she now knows its a friend, a friend by the name of Jay
a boy she met when she met as a child and ended up being a friend
a friend that she happened to ignore just about everyday
but now she realizes, WOW. I'm selfish, he saw through me
i must find him and let him know what i feel
one month later... she does
she says hi, he says hi back, then he says, I'm surprised u know me still
she apologizes about what she has done to him
he says its OK, in life we are all forgiven and i forgive you
she cries and says thank you, thank you for being you
i must say, with all the stuff Ive put you through, you still cared
she tells him, your truly one of a kind, i wish you were mine
he replies, tell me how you feel and we will give it time
cuz time heals all, even when we all fall
