These Four Walls

by SomeonesAngel   Jun 19, 2006

Four walls hold me in,
Four walls they watch me cry,
Four walls surrounding me,
Daring me to die.

Four walls I'm imprisoned,
Four walls under lock and key,
Four walls i feel them,
Watching over me.

Four walls are smothered,
I'm my suffering and blood,
Four walls they saw me die,
When i gave up on love.

Four walls see everything I do,
Everything I feel,
Four walls are breaking up,
Watch frail paper start to fall.

Four walls my prison,
Four walls in which I'm kept,
Four walls are drowning in,
The crystal tears I wept.

Four walls fell down,
And I am free away from prying eyes,
Four walls in which i lived,
The ones that kept me alive,
Watched me when I'm crying,
Watched me when I wept,
Four walls in which i was living,
My Life I should have kept.
