Lie in your bed of roses

Lie in your bed of roses
make the demons die
say good night to your
imaginary friends
and take the pills for your pain
with spinning walls and falling roses
all you can think is of him
let your illusions run away
make it fast
and accept your tears because you cant escape
your hands sing a lullaby as they carress my face
am i asleep yet?
this wasted time has taken a toll on my mind
as if im going crazy
lie in your bed of roses
listen to the sharp cries of the screaming notes
what is it about me that attracts you?
are you satisfied with the way i am yet
every tear has sorrow buried deep inside
dont you see
my visions hazy but i manage to see your face
sitting beside me
on my bed of roses
theres no poetry in this
simply a forbidden language
as i awake
you lay beside me
as our eyes cower to the sunlight
we kiss
i am not crazy after all
lie in your bed of roses
