The light I hold

The light that shone so bright once
Is just a flicker now
The dark cold wind
press hard on my back

Press it may but I will try hold out
Because I know
that if it makes it way, to my light
I will surely be left in the dark forever

Time pass, me
Days, weeks, months maybe even years
I still hold the light so tie
It burned my hands at first
but know I do not feel

When suddenly the cold wind blows
I am so weak to fight
The light i goes, with a blink of an eye
And with at my hopes and dreams are gone

The only thing left to to is die
Die I will, to forget the pain
The pain I leave will sting some but comfort the cold wind
