Now your gone

Do you remember how it used to be?
Walking together so happily.
Now you left me to face it all,
No longer do I feel strong and tall.
At the beach I feel so small,
The crashing waves I see it all.
Why did you have to go?
I have no one to talk to,
Nowhere to go!
Walking down the pier eating ice cream as we cheer,
Heres for a new beginning,
A new year.

But no longer can I smell the donuts or the fish and chips,
They're all gone, just like a memory in a flash,
Why did it have to happen so fast?

The sand and the sun is no longer fun,
Because without you it has all gone,
I can't believe we were together so long,
And in a second you were gone,
Killed by a bullet from a gun.

I miss you so much,
It's hard to believe,
All the memories between you and me.

I just can't take it all,
Instead I just want to take this fall.
From on this cliff I shall soar,
The salty water will swallow me whole.

So with a tear in my eyes,
I begin a silent cry,
And with one last breath I muttered Good bye.
