I am no help

by John Pickett   Jun 20, 2006

I am suffocating you
i can feel you pulling away
i know you are getting scared
you just won't let life take it natural
course.

you have had so much pain in your life and on your own you knew you had to change.
yet you still hold on to the black cloud.

when you smoke does it make you feel better than my love?

will the crystal make it all better?

the man you once loved introduced that poison to you , how could he do that to such an angel?

so now i become the bad guy because i care , i love you, but love isn't enough to stop it and you refuse help.

you are pulling the mountain from under me , look I'm dangling up in the blue and its a cartoon coyote eternity before i drop over you , what am i supposed to do now.

there is something beautiful shinning in the hollow knot of your head, funny it seemed to come from the sky ,but its in your head , yes it fills your head.

you and i don't always fly let me go i wanna fall deep into the dark but I'll come back to you.
and I'll alway know how to find you 'cause you shine like the midnight sun.
