Me and my friend

by Sinead   Jun 20, 2006

Me and my friend do lots of things,
Like shop and dance and even sing.
We go to town and come for tea,
But there was a time she fell out with me.
We did not talk for days and days,
And it was all because of our stubborn ways.
I said a prayer every night,
That we would forget our stupid fight.
It wasnt until i said to my friend,
This is driving me round the bend
I want to be friends and i want it now.
Why did we fall out over a stupid row?
My friend smiled and i smiled too,
And over the years our friendship grew.
Now we\\\'ve made a pact, try as we might,
We will not fall out over a stupid fight!

Nice poem, very nice poem. My only real suggestion here is to check your grammar, as 'lots' is not a word. This poem flowed rather smoothly, you should keep up the good work.
