Unwanted Criteria

by LadyPearl   Jun 20, 2006

Heart of sun borne in me
Soul of moon hides within
Eyes contain, more to see
Not only joys, but also sins

Sheltered in a little town
Believing God and hope in all
I was one who never frowned
Or went against the religious law

Poets must have an open mind
I'm neither an angel nor a demon
Not everything in life is kind
I'm not a witch nor some shaman

Rules are created, and so destroyed
I follow rules of everyday lives
I'm not to play, neither am I a toy
Into reality fusion, my soul dives

They study my poems with disturbing sighs
Never before encountered something so dark
When one door opens, the other one dies
Your concerns have missed the mark

You think I'm crazy and insane
You think I worship the Devil now
Just because my facts cause you pain
It's a gift the angels have bestowed

Seeing things through crystal clear water
Seeing things people cannot seem to face
I am not a person you can ever barter
My heart has it's own eyes and pace

Do not judge me by my darkened side
That is only one single part of me
It's in Nature where my true aura resides
See all of me, than give me your honesty

I think you meant 'honesty' instead of 'honestly' Not sure.

But I thought this was great. Was a little long, But you did keep me interested, which is a good thing. =)

The rhyming was pretty good aswell. I didn't seem to forced. The flow was alright. But I really liked your wording. It made it more interesting. Keep it up =) 5/5
