Elizabeth (a vampire poem)

by Jess   Jun 20, 2006

As the womens heart beat slows to a soft rhythmic melody
The warmth of the vampire returns with a vengeance
The screams are heard like a far off festivity
The womens soul hangs on for one last look at her lost child
As the vampire draws away from its victim
A signal word escapes from her blue lifeless lips
like a signal rose petal falling to its doom \"Elizabeth\"
The vampire stops to hear her final plea
As the women dies a young girl runs to her crying
Tears falling down her face like a never ending race
As the vampire watches the young girl crying
He know what he must do to save his eternal warmth
