I Wonder.

Sometimes I wonder,
How life would be.
If I had never met you,
And you had never met me.

We started off as friends,
We were closer than close.
But what I felt inside,
Still no one will ever know.

We got into the stupidest fights,
Yet we always made up some how.
But you don't need me anymore,
You have HER now.

I admired you from afar,
Noticing all your traits.
No matter how hard I tried,
There was nothing I could hate.

I didn't want to like you,
I didn't want to feel that way.
But you always knew the right thing to do,
And the perfect thing to say.

But things have changed,
There's no longer a me and you.
You've moved on with your life,
But I'm not making it through.

I'm still sitting alone,
Wondering how you said good-bye.
But no tears have fallen,
I refuse to say you made me cry.

Maybe if we hadn't been so close,
Then I would have never fallen for you.
But I've fallen hard,
And that's the absolute truth.

I see you with HER,
Making my heart break in two.
But at least you're happy,
And at least she's true.
