Too Far, Too Gone

by Ashley   Jun 21, 2006

She cut for control, she cut until she felt no pain;
She almost killed herself, cut to close to the vein;
Her near call with death was accidental;
She promised me she'd never do it again, I was her best friend;
She promised him she'd never cut, he was worried for her;
She was too far, too gone, for anyone to save her;
Sucked into a fasion, stuck in an addiction;
She used to cut to feel the rush, her natural high to get by;
Missing out on time with her friends, her art was gone;
Her pictures changed to drawings of slashed wrists, colored with her own blood;
She never saw the change in us, we saw the change in her;
She was too far, too gone, for anyone to save her;
Sucked into a fasion, stuck in an addiction;
I may have introduced it, I didn't know how far she'd go;
If I'd had known, I wouldn't have told her how;
You can't keep blaming me, I'm not the one with the blade;
She was too far, too gone, for anyone to save her;
Sucked into a fasion, stuck in an addiction;
She's too far too gone, nobody can save her;
She's too far too gone, we tried to help her;
She's too far too gone...........she's gone.
