A Marriage Ends

by Morgan   Jun 21, 2006

Laughter echoes down the hall
The moon rings in its midnight call
Voices filling up the empty room
Misery filling up the soul with impending doom
The soreness in the tears
And the reality of every one of your fears
Footsteps still linger down the hall
Voices in your head will linger through it all
A door slams a car door slams
A marriage ends
All the love faded
Leaving you feeling jaded
