Tomorrow's Another Day

by Wings Of Flames   Jun 21, 2006

The sky fell into darkness,
As the rain came pounding down,
The bath filling with blood,
As I began to drown,

A car crashed through the night,
Into depths of a tree,
Leaves scattered everywhere,
So they could rescue me,

Mother pulled the plug for me,
So I could have her bed,
Dying for my stupidity,
Just so I could rest my head,

Father looks down with disgust,
Pure hate in his eyes,
I stabbed my brother through the heart,
For he murdered with despise,

I fought each battle to no end,
Until there was no more,
I trembled with what I had done,
Father on the floor,

I stood above my creation,
Then pondered if I should stay,
But I remember those noble words,
Tomorrow's another day.

i loved how you used the title right at the end, made for a very effective ending and a lighter happier end the the darkness of the rest of the poem, good job
