A Friendship That Ended Too Soon

You were all I had,
You kept me strong,
You were always here for me,
Even when I was wrong.

I thought we would,
Always be best friends,
I thought you would,
Always be here for me.

But then things changed,
You and your mom were fighting,
And you didn't wanna,
Live with her anymore.

You told your dad,
What was going on,
He told you to pack your things,
He was coming to get you.

You called me and told me,
But I didn't believe it was true,
I didn't want you to leave me,
But there was nothing I could do.

Just like that you were gone,
I'll probably never see you again,
But I'll never forget about you,
No matter what happens.

I wish I would of told you,
How much you meant to me,
Now I'll never get the chance,
To let you know what a great friend you were.

    ^ i think it should be "pack" not "pick"

    Good poem, however if you start to rhyme you should contine to rhyme or just have freestyle with no rhmes. A sad but good poem,

    Aww.. that was so sad.. very good though. I really thought it was going to rhyme all the way through though. There was a lot of emotion in it.

    Oh, and "I wish I would of told you"
    of should be have.
