Lost Heart

by RCM   Jun 22, 2006

I've lost the heart, and will to live,
Without you life has lost its meaning.
I had so much I tried to give.
But all of that was so short-lived
Even now I tremble at the sight of you
With wobbly knees and shaking hands
A world of chaos, colliding glands
I have to try and make it through
But then, I catch a glimpse of you
And my world collapses around me
Once I was a mountain, a tree,
Strong and sure, no uncertainty
But now I'm just a jelly, so wobbly
Can't concentrate, life has no reality
And I wander in a dream or so it seems
Love is supposed to be a pleasure
Of dreamy days and feeling good
Not pain and suffering being hurt
I miss the little things and wish I could
Once again, share your life and love
To melt into your arms and heart
To feel you close to me.
