To Be Or Not To Be

Tonight I was told
That he loves me
But I'm not sure
If that can be

We are close friends
And know each other well
But I don't know how I feel
Or if my heart also fell

I know I like him
More than a friend
But my head is cautious
My heart it has to defend

I've been hurt before
And don't want it again
My heart can't be broken
It's still on the mend

Love is a strong work
To be used lightly
He knows that too
And only uses it slightly

We have to meet up
And see then how we feel
I might not like him

This guy is really nice
I know he won't hurt me
