In My Mind And Your Not Real

by jello   Jun 23, 2006

There you are again
Inside my mind
I've been thinking of you
You haunt my dreams
I wish you were real but you're not
I want to reach out and touch you
But you're out of reach
What do I do without you?
When you're still there
Inside my mind
Your face is so beautiful
How could it be fake?
You seem so real to me
but it's to late
I'll keep you there
In my thoughts
I won't forget you there
You meant too much
I wish you were real
But you're not
But you're still in my mind
I'll hold you there
I'll hold on to you
And your memory
That seems so real

I'm not sure if I read this correctly.. are you trying to let go, or do you have an image of that perfect person, that you can't find..? Either way, I liked it.. I do agree with Willow, and think that the flow will change dramatically if you re-word it.. If I read it correctly, I hope that I get to that stage where I can start letting go of the one I love, and start to move on, to where he is only a memory, before I become bitter from the pain of my broken heart. Excellent write, hunny. 5/5. xx
