Wind and Sea

by Mel   Jun 23, 2006

She sits on the shore all alone,
The winds whispers, surround and enlace,
Crying out for something to ease her mind
Tears trickling down her forgotten face.

Rain drops drift from the skies
Silently as if in slow motion,
To the rhythm of the wind,
Drowning in the ocean.

The scenery slips softly to the ground,
Closing over all things like a grey pall
Not noticing a sound nor movement,
Her mind maunders in memories that befall

All gone in yesterdays
Never coming back in tomorrow
Lost love, diminished hope,
A heart forever cold and hollow.
