The black cloud

by John Pickett   Jun 23, 2006

I can't believe you chose the
black cloud over me.
you say you're not an addict , you say it's "under control", but if that were true you would not risk our love .

let's say your not addicted for a moment , this black cloud eats you the from the inside out.

it puts harmful people in your path , i still cannot understand how the man who said he loved you introduced this to you.

so now i have run into this empty hole where your heart should be , i can't get out ,I am so confused , i don't want to leave or abandon you , if i stay i can only watch your loving personality ,your charm and your body slowly fade into a case of rust.

i saw the black cloud on the horizon
and knew the storm was on its way.
i am here if you want me ,in the mean time i will keep bleeding my love for you in hopes that one day the cloud will disappear forever.
