Who

Who it is that once said
this is it, the world
we will probably never know
we were just happy with what we had

and why that person thought
that we should be here
we will also never know
but to find a meaning some of us were ought

and the end of lives will be here
until the end of times
and we don't know what'll happen
because it's unknown, we'll fear

But why don't we wonder more often
about these questions
and the life that has been given
or isn't it that that makes us driven?

We lead our lives so fast and quiet
without taking time to stop
and look around ourselves
to be amazed and to wonder quietly...
about who brought us life and who it might be...
