Caught Up

My eyes are swollen up and red
From all the tears that are still being shed
I'm still sitting here trying to figure out why
Thinking of you seems to always make me cry

I've told everyone including me
That what we had wasn't meant to be
so why does it hurt knowing your not there
and why do i still even bother to care

all that we are now is friends
so why cant i let it all come to an end
all my feelings and all the dreams
I'm still too caught up is what it seems

too caught up just let you go
so caught up my feelings still show
and what i don't get is why its you
when your the one who couldn't be true

caught up in what used to be
way back when it was you and me
just don't see how i can be so easily replaced
When for so long it was only me who could put a smile on your face

just so caught up in everything we used to have
then looking back on it all this is what makes me mad
The way you were just so sure
you would be just as happy with another girl

but yet I'm not the only one
who is still wishing that we weren't done
cause when i talked to you the other day
you told me how you hated it this way

the funny thing about all of it is
the fact that now I'm done with all of this
and now that I've moved on and am no longer stuck
your the one that doesn't understand and is now Caught Up!
