Wings of a vampire (vampire duh)

by silhouette fairy   Jun 24, 2006

The cold dark shadow
floats across the ground
a flicker, then gone.
high above
something no one knows
foreign to all,
his silent flight
sends him traveling
to any home he may find,
a maiden awaiting,
inviting him in
only to shriek in fear
as he pierces their skin
sending chills up the spine
he flees the awakening,
and the mortals hurry,
but to slowly,
for he is gone
now only a shadow,
a dream,
only moon light touching
the wings of a vampire

Images were nice...but there are some spelling errors in case you care...

    "Hight about"

Should be high. But the way it describes a vampire was cool if a bit weird in a good way. Don't know what to say about it except that it was a cool write and that the end was truly the best, strongest part.
