An End Sealed With A Kiss

by Tammie   Jun 24, 2006

With scars on her wrists
And tear-stained cheeks
She wrote down her last emotions
That forever she will keep

Poems, diaries, suicide letters
In which she could confide
Holding her deepest and darkest secrets
Everyday until she died

That's all that's left to show
Of a heart that couldn't mend
Anger, tears and heartbreak
Consumed her in the end

Unloved by her family
Forgotten by her friends
It all contributed
To her sad and lonely end

One last poem was written
To explain why she had to go
Signed with her blood
This is it to show:

I'm thankful for all I had
But staying isn't right
I live in lonely darkness
And dying is my light

I'll see you all again one day
Don't be sad, just rejoice
As this is what I wanted
I just could never have it voiced

Goodbye family and friends
Have a happy life
I'll be watching over you
So you don't get into strife

Put in an envelope
Sealed with a kiss
This girl will never know
How she really will be missed

Another well writen poem about suicide. However, it is a very popular topic, and I have read many of them. This seem like most I have read, with a different scenario. As an individual poem, this is done rather well. For creativity and originality, it doesn't do that well. But you are indeed a talented writer.

This is a beautifully written, sad poem. I loved the deep emotion that I was able to feel. You gave an excellent description of a girl who was truly at the end of her ropes. 5/5
