You Don't Know

by My Obsεssion   Feb 24, 2004

Well you may know that I like you,
but you don’t know how much.

You don’t know that:

Even though we’ve only talked a couple of times,
you’re all I think about;

I get on the internet every free moment I have,
hoping you’ll be on;

Even though we’ve shared some personal secrets,
I still don’t have the nerve to walk up to you and start talking;

I purposly walk by your locker to all of my classes,
in hopes that I’ll have the nerve to say hi;

I’m always looking to see if I can spot you,
and find you looking back.

You don’t know how much:

I want to be with you,
how much I want to get to know you;

I want to know if you feel the same,
if you like me too;

I want to hold you,
to feel your warmth against mine;

I want to hug you,
to feel your strong embrace;

I want to kiss you,
to feel your lips pressed on mine.

You don’t know how much I hope that
what you said was intended for me,
how much I wish that were true.
