Oh He Who Watches Down
On Our Path Of Selfishness
And Looks Away At Our Lies;
Turns His Back When We Are Trouble Bound

Oh He Who Determines Fate
Is So Silent In Our Lives
And Refuses To Hint Our Future
For It Already Is Too Late

Oh Why Does The World Follow
These Manuals For A Happy End
When We Know It Is Crusted With Lies
Created By Those Who Are Ever So Shallow.

Oh Why Do I Feel So Attached
To This Method Of Escape
Where My Selfish Desires Follow Me
Gone Only When I Have Lifted The Latch.

His Kingdom Is Paved In Gold
But How Can I Believe
It Will Remain This Lovely Way
This Is Only What I Am Told.

My Philosophies Are Simple
But Suppressed By The Currents
Followed In The Distant Lands
Marking The World Only As A Dimple

    I really like this poem it expresses my feeling about god. my unsurities but my love for him.
    and i like your rhyme sceam. abca. but did you notice you changed it in one stanza.

    Or So I Am Told
    But How Can I Believe
    That It If Forever That You Leave.

    here it goes aabb
    and the last line in the stanza doesnt really make sense.... but i like it...
