Tragic fairytale

by WriteLoveOnHerArms   Jun 24, 2006

It was the most amazing fairytale that ever existed
He was my Prince and I was his Princess
It was a love too strong to be resisted
I was truly blessed

I didn't have a fairytale ending
It wasn't even close
The love we had was slowly descending
But it kept haunting me like a ghost

I was oblivious to the lies
I fell for them and you
You hid it so well with your smiles
I guess it was too good to be true

I have now just dreams of you
Dreams of foregone times
And nightmares of the pain you put me through
I try to forget your loving crimes

One day i had enough
I couldn't stand being without you
Losing my Prince was just too tough
Now you'll know how much my love was true

I grabbed daddy's gun
Quietly ran up to my room
All the tears and pain would be done
I pulled the trigger and the darkness i started to consume

It was because i believed in a love that never existed
A broken heart that could not mend
A love that was torn and twisted
A tragic fairytale with a dreadful end
