Dancing in the Rain

Oh the joy
of smiling
and getting through another day.

Of laughter
In yet another way.

The feeling of satisfaction
Of knowing I'm okay,
Gives me the joy of knowing
I can be happy today.

And when a rain drop falls
On my happy world;
A tear from a complication,
I spill my soul
And let it go
Wallowing in my self-pity
For a while.

But then I spot the sunlight
Just peaking through the clouds

I can dance now,
