More Than You'll Ever Know.

I was young, very mature but very naive,
Grew up to be foolhardy, go-with-the flow.
Met a couple girls but never considered love,
And now I love more than shell ever know.

I was empty-handed with my thoughts,
Still dreaming the dreams of childhood.
Cherising every moment I sucked up,
The attention, care but most of all... the love.

Was a young man,- a kept man that's all,
Wasn't my fault or her\'s how it ended up.
But I couldn't make you or I possibly see it,
That I'd love you more than I'd ever know.

Now I feel an old man, twisted and cold,
Who when he sleeps dreams of an empty hole.
But when awake see's sillhouettes lost,
While laying on his bed, wondering where it's all gone.

And Isn't it Ironic that my love for you was blind,
But that you couldn't see it, just couldn't see it.
And now I Love you more than you will ever know...

It is so much easier to see with the blinders off. But then narrow is the gate when the horses start the race.
