My mind lets go of a thousand things,
And yet recalls the very day,
the life of you was swept away.
You were always there to lend a hand,
and to help me to my feet when I couldn't stand.
I miss your laugh - I miss your smile.
I haven't seen you in such a long while.
You were gone in the glimpse of an eye,
and about your absence I'll forever cry.

Where you are and if you're okay.
