Dimming

by Kelleigh   Feb 24, 2004

Stars twinkle in your eyes
When you look at me.
But I don't know if it's true
Can this really be?

I like you and you know that
But is this just a lie
Because of you, I'm happy
I feel like I can fly.

But I remember a week ago
In a little note
You gave me an answer
This is what you wrote:

'It's not you, it's me
It is nothing that you do
You're a cool person.
Don't worry, it's not you.'

That's a bunch of bull
I don't believe one bit
It's because I'm fat
And the preppy clothes don't fit.

But all my friends say
'You're to good for him'
Now my love for you
Is finally getting dim.

if you really think its because you are overweight then he doesnt deserve you, you are a very talented person, and if he cant take you for who you are inside and out, then he isnt good enough....
