I came to you with a broken heart
you accepted my sorrow with open arms
and promised me a new beginning
a freshened start

you held me close to your chest with care
in complete honesty
you promised me no matter what
you'd always be there

It did not take long for us to love eachother
it grew with enticipation and affection
this was more than love
tying us like sister and brother

But as the months grew and i gave myself to you
you left em with heart-ache
sadly proving to me
they were empty promises and untrue
