but it seemed like a one hit wonder because he was moving
but I knew that our love had no need of proving
it was plain to see that we were ment to be
just me and him, and him and me
when he left we both shared a kiss
we knew that there was something that we were going to miss
I was so sad, but he was the one I always went to
he was my best friend and this was true
he was the one I loved forever for sure
it seemed like there wasn't a cure
for the emptyness I felt inside
it was a feeling I could not hide
but from then on I never dated
those memories of him just never faded
