I remember the day

When u told me you loved me when you told me you care my heart didn't listen it left me to stare

standing at your graveside day and night makes me wonder why my life's not so bright

hearing your voice on the answering machine makes my heart fill with glee than the remembrance of you not around made my heart turn upside down

i remember the day we had our first kiss i remember the day you were very missed

i remember the day you did not come home i remember the phone call oh so long ago

the tragedy on the news left my heart to swell as your car turned all the way around
