Our Broken Faith

by Sarah Ann   Jun 26, 2006

Spilling like the pouring blood of innocence
Frozen but drifted onto your spot
My father, the purest of purest souls
Was always something you were not

Bleeding troubles upon our doorstep
Wishing the world falls into your hands
As his flawless heart had, you expect
And still like the past, no body understands

Begging with ragged arms wide open
For the piece of advice no one has spoken
But you had cheated, lied to our faces
And all our faith in you has broken

--I know not many would understand what I was grasping on. I just wrote this poem about a serious matter that has occured within the family. Comments are appreciated. I return favors--
