Ripped away

You were the greatest person
You just graduated a year ago
You got married about the same time
You , are whom everyone completely adored

You were so smart, and bright
You made everyone laugh
So, why on this day did this have to happen
He had absolutely no right

Why couldn't you have made it home that night
Why did it have to be the end for you
You ran into His truck
Not knowing, you would have to fight

Your lung collapsed, your brain was messed up
They had you on life support
They didn't think you would make it
They didn't think you would be ok

You just couldn't hold on any longer
The pain was just to much
You left us here, with no notice
You left us here with your unforgotten touch

R.I.P Mark 6.23.06..you will forever be missed

    I'm extremely sorry for you loss..hurts me to know a poem I read about a death is true, although it always seems like poems about a loved one passing turns out the best because people truly take whats in there heart and throw it out there!     Aw.. I'm really sorry that you lost someone that apparently was a great person. It's hard, but it gets better in time :) Alot of your emotions could be seen coming out through this poem, it was very sad with much love showing through. The flow and rhythm held up well, letting you keep your attention on the poem & feelings. I give it a 5/5** Great job on this!
