Not Worth It (Gone)

Not Worth It

A run down girl at the age of fourteen
Went to New York to discover her dreams

Been played in the cinemas, with all the movies gone
Leaving home and ending up where it\'s all wrong

Auditioned for commercials and Broadway plays
Ready to try it for the rest of her days

Dyeing her hair, having plastic surgery
All by the time that she turned eighteen

Got a fancy producer who bought her nice things
All he cares about her is the way she sings

(Hey, things kicked off to a wonderful start
But what happens when life aims for the heart?)

Fell in love with king of Jupiter, which made her feel stupider
Thought he was nice, but he hurt her

And now her money\'s gone
Wiped straight from her wallet, it\'s gone wrong

Strumming her fingers on a cardboard guitar
Lookin\' up at what used to be the stars

Not a penny left in her fake leather purse
Ended up in a place that was cursed

(Girl, it\'s not worth it..
Leave before you start hurtin\'...)

Girl saved up 20 quarters and went home
Her mama picked her up with the payphone

She was welcomed when she came back
Now she knows livin\' the good life is whack

(was thinking of \"Gone\" by BEP/Johnny.
