Ties that bind

Four years have passed in a blink of an eye,
Over the years that passed we grew closer.
But what took us so long?
For the bond between us to become stronger.

We shared our dreams,secrets and desires,
We tried our best to understand one another\'s needs.
The times we had together,
Were very pleasant indeed.

When one of us is feeling blue,
We would try our best to cheere her up.
We would end up laughing,
Fogetting all the hiccups.

I hope this friendship would last,
Although we may go our separate ways.
But with the bond between us becomes strong,
We would call each other every single day.
