She Is Lost Without Him

by manic moments   Jun 26, 2006

She is lost without him
A lost soul left wondering
Her tears are now ghosts of love
Because this happiness is now nothing

Her tears are empty
And so be that heart she carries in her hand
She's left wondering the barren plains
Without him, she can never understand

Accustomed to the coldness in her heart
She walks along suicide's edgy highway
Takes her time, moving through death's fog
There is no religion in her life to betray

She is lost without him
He was her heart, her blood, her life
He made her feel when she was hurting
But now he's gone, she is turning to the faithful knife

Her silence is a worry
She makes not a sound, nothing escapes
Her eyes stare off into the world of unknown
Everyone's innocence, purity, she hates

Her hair hangs around her face
Covering all the tears that track down
Her clothes are ripped
She finds herself stuck wearing a nightgown

She is lost without him
She is the ever roaming
Lost, wondering, forever scared
Lovers joy, how she is loathing

Let go, let go of him
People beg, people scream, people forget
Silent tears fall, he's never forgotten
All this pain, all her hurt, regret

Walking on suicide's edgy road
Wondering, remembering, crying
Blood trail dripping behind her
One more slice, one more person dying

She is lost without him
Death swift wings are lingering over her head
She begs, she cries, kill me
Please, please, make me dead

The red marks across her throat
The jagged cuts down her arms
She's trying so hard to die
And she's trying to do it really calm

He made her whole, he made her real
He made her this person that she now hates
Without him, she cannot be that person anymore
All those beautiful things that where once her traits

She is lost without him
She cannot survive with only half her heart
He is gone, he left her, he is never more
He hurt her, he broke her, he loved her from the start
