The Daughters of Eve

by Corruption   Jun 26, 2006

Blood streaming down her chest
forming the star of which she was
showing the future she never will have
bringing tears to those she loves

just a child so young and innocent
one wrong choice, one violent man
heart broken from both inside and out
she has gone cold before she hit the ground

show her some mercy make it quick
why make a teenager suffer so
she was so kind and gentle
too bad her parents didn't see that

if they had cared if anyone had
maybe she would still be here
maybe she wouldnt have run off
maybe she would have seen the mistake in him

it wasn't love he wanted
just someone to beat
he wanted a slave
a person who he was the boss of

his victims are innocent and unloved
and who are to nice to fight back
they are beautiful in more than one way
they could have been anything if given the choice

he stalks them and cares for them
as one does a mear fluttering fly
he traps them in a web of lies
of words with no meaning

these daughters of eve
pure vision of beauty
so innocent to the world
are gone because of that
