All but thoughts abandoned, my heart retreats into hibernation
For this feeling so lifeless, carries one into eternal damnation
For how is a spirit to maintain, without a warming thought
How is a soul to feel emotion, when all is cold and forgot?
Shattered images of what once was, drains you to the bone
A eulogy that is premature, a feeling I must atone
For a reflection to cast a glow, it must be love
A vision from heaven, you're my angel from above
Nothing in this world can replace, the oxygen you breathe in me
Lifeless, I beg you and plead, you're so missed, and can't you see
Chards of memories lie in ruin, once cherished, now in mourning
A vision that keeps coming back, only to escape again, without warning
As hard as I try, I know I must get by
Something my life must see, or it will be the death of me
Dwelling upon the past, will only swallow me whole
The fond memories have past, my heart you unknowingly stole
I compose this psalm, in hoping you'll remember
Those 3 little words, spoken in September
If these words that are spoken, are all in vain
I will dig deeper, I will try desperately again
For you're worth every second of undivided attention
Please my dearest, free my life from this detention
