Angel of the Stars

by Allie Cat   Jun 27, 2006

She would soar,
Flying through the night
She would beam,
Her smile a ray of light

She was radiant
With beauty beyond compare
She was one of a kind
Hardly found and rare

This tale is not only sad
But also true
Yet she would've wanted her story
To be told to you

The star-catcher wandered
From galaxy to galaxy
Her heart was full,
Her soul set free

A fire flames
Beneath her eyes
Each of her problems
She easily defies

She'll flit through the universe
Moving comets in her own way
Leading the evening hours
Into the dawn of day

But like every Angel
She sometime had to fall
She fell from the sky
As did they all

Should she drift back up
From this dismal earth?
Does she need to try?
Exactly how much is she worth?

As frightening as it will be
She will attempt to glide
Her spirit will live again
Though it one day died

Once more, she'll twirl by the planets
Skipping by Jupiter and Mars
And again she'll be dancing,
An Angel of the Stars
