Sin commited against fellow man

I sit and think for a while,
why is the world filled with people so vile?
They rob and steal, kill and rape,
Don't they see they generate so much hate?

For the hate and sin we commit against fellow man.
is not way God intended for this land.

For it is a vicious circle we are trapped in,
carrying out acts of violence is a game we will never win.
We need to start again and learn to love one another,
that is the only way, to treat everyone as your sister or brother.

For the hate and sin we commit against fellow man.
is not way God intended for this land.

He gave us such a beautiful plant,
that we have polluted and destroyed everything on it.
he gave us fellow beings so that we can learn to love,
so we will not alone until we the reach the kingdom above.

For the hate and sin we commit against fellow man.
is not way God intended for this land.

We overlook all the wonderful gifts he gave us,
we ask for more and continue to take and take.
Never once thanking him for the son he forsaked.

For the hate and sin we commit against fellow man.
is not way God intended for this land.

He gave us this wonderful gift which we failed to look after
and as Judgment Day arrives..........
Bow down and beg forgiveness from your master.

    Excellent poem , well written ,great choice of words and flowed good, you have done a remarkable job expressing your thoughts and feelings on this matter , and I agree with you , people need to stop and think about the life they live and try to get along with each other , to much hate and death in this world and not enough love m great job sweetie, kepp it up , your friend Tracy d 5/5

    It may not be your best piece as you said, but i sure liked it.
    The repetition really got the point across about whats happening in this world

    Hey honey, i just thought i would read a few of your poems since you had a look at one of mine.
    Even though i don't believe there is a god, i still agree with every point you made in this poem. People abuse the world and don't see the beauty and a majority don't appreciate what we have been given. The world would be a much better place if people would only notice and care. You wrote a truthful and realistic poem, well done!
